The VisionSD4+1S RGB/DVI/HD and SD Video Capture Card by DATAPATH offers five video capture channels, including one for 1920x1080 DVI or 2048x1536 Analog resolution and four SD Analog capture channels. It achieves a data rate of up to 650 MB/s, buffering and transferring the data to the host system for display or storage. It can directly boost performance when used with a Datapath graphics card.

For non-Datapath graphics cards, the VisionSD4+1S routes RGB/DVI data to system memory or the graphics card, depending on the display software. The accompanying software configures input sources and displays captured video. By connecting your DVI, Analog, or video source and running the VisionSD4+1S application, the captured video is showcased on your desktop.

The VisionSD4+1S serves applications needing concurrent capture of an RGB/DVI source and up to four SD video sources. It's apt for viewing Analog/DVI from various sources, streaming video tasks, video wall controllers and other scenarios. It supports streaming applications like Windows Media Encoder and can be used with Windows DirectShow technology due to its built-in WDM support. Supported applications for direct WDM streaming include Dataton WatchOut, Microsoft Expression Encoder, Windows Media Encoder, VideoLAN VLC, NorPix StreamPix, VirtualDub, Adobe Flash Encoder, VidBlaster, AMCap and more.
