PT-VMZ71 projectors – an incredibly vivid image with 7,000 lumens of brightness

Many educators and office managers find that with the advent of projectors, classic whiteboards are a presentation tool of the past. Instead of writing on the board, teachers or meeting leaders can use projectors to use PowerPoint presentations, show photos, movies and more. As a result, there is a consensus among students and teachers that projectors are extremely useful devices for classrooms and conference rooms.

Panasonic's latest PT-VMZ71 family of projectors provide clear and stunning images in well-lit open spaces, allowing for efficient management of meetings or lessons. All this performance is packed into the smallest and lightest laser LCD projector in its class. The high brightness of 7,000 lumens, the contrast of 3,000,000 : 1 and vivid colors create an attractive presentation experience.

The smallest, lightest, yet extremely powerful LCD laser projector

With a weight of 7 kilograms, the PT-VMZ71 projector series is one of the lightest and smallest LCD laser projectors in its class. Despite its compactness, it achieves an impressive 7,000 lumens of brightness. Its lightweight design allows for easy portability between rooms and installation on the ceiling. The unobtrusive design and silent operation ensure that the focus is not on the projectors, but on the presentation.

Clear image even in bright daylight

In classrooms and meeting rooms, projectors are usually used with the curtains and blinds open and the lights on, which means that they need a high light output to provide a sufficiently clear image. The PT-VMZ71 has a sophisticated optical engine that provides brightness of up to 7,000 lumens, much more than most professional projectors of a similar size. Slow projections are a thing of the past. You can only expect dynamic images that will stimulate the viewer's interaction with the content of the presentation - regardless of the brightness of the environment.

High dynamic contrast 3,000,000 : 1

In addition to accurately reproducing images that contain a mixture of dark and light shades, dynamic contrast is more energy efficient than other technologies and can be optimized according to the content and lighting of the room. A high contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1 delivers refined shadow detail with deeper blacks, brighter whites and more natural hues for a better sense of depth and detail.

Energy consumption reduced by 20 %

Panasonic PT-VMZ71 projectors use approximately 20 % less energy than their predecessors. By pressing the ECO button, the efficiency is further increased, while at the same time the brightness is optimized according to the ambient light. The economy of the new PT-VMZ71 projectors allows you to more easily achieve environmental goals and at the same time reduce the amount of electronic waste.

Versatile 1,6x zoom with wide range lens

The built-in 1,6x optical zoom supports close-up or far-off projection, improving the flexibility of the projector's installation location and ensuring visible images in rooms of various sizes and shapes. The V/H Lens-Shift function offers +44 % to 0 % vertical adjustment, which is extremely useful when projecting from a high ceiling, and ±20 % horizontal adjustment for correct image placement when parallel projection.

New digital zoom extension feature

If you are thinking of upgrading school or business projectors, you should check if the new projectors will fit in the existing installation positions. In some cases, the distance required to create an image of the desired quality may exceed the projector's optical zoom range. New Panasonic projectors have bypassed this limitation with a new Digital Zoom Extender function. Digital zoom provides an easy way to adjust the image beyond the reach of optical zoom. This reduces the need to move projector mounts and saves time, money and potential inconvenience.

Easy control with two HDMI inputs, compatible with the CEC command

The HDMI inputs are compatible with control signals sent via a component that supports the CEC command, allowing limited control of the projector with a remote control. The projector turns on from standby mode and starts playing content when commanded by a compatible player, such as the optional PressIT system.

6-point screen adjustment for projecting to all corners of the room

The PT-VMZ71 series is Panasonic's first series with 6-point screen correction. Allows you to perform 4-angle and horizontal/vertical keystone correction via the remote control to remove keystone distortion when projecting at an angle. The additional two control points located in the middle of the upper and lower screens can be used to remove distortion when projecting the image into the corner of the room.

Use the QR code for wireless LAN connection

You can connect mobile devices to the projector via wireless LAN by scanning the QR code displayed on the projector's on-screen menu with your smartphone camera. No password or SSID input required. With the free Wireless Projector app, you can project content from your smart device onto the big screen.

PressIT - Wireless screen mirroring solution

You can also project the screen without additional software. The PressIT Wireless Presentation System can connect up to 32 devices and allows users to switch between them with just one button.

Long service life of the light source

The PT-VMZ71 series is equipped with Panasonic SOLID SHINE laser technology and a long-lasting ECO filter, which do not need to be changed for at least 20,000 hours in typical use. In addition to reducing the cost and frequency of projector maintenance, you will also no longer need to keep a stock of consumables, as the ECO filter can be easily cleaned and reused.
